Drop-In Office Hours

Virtual Consultation for School-Based Services

We are pleased to now offer Drop-In Office Hours for schools participating in MC3’s School-Based Services. We invite you to learn more below:

What are Drop-In Office Hours?

  • Drop-in Office Hours allow school-based professionals, including school therapists, social workers, psychologists, and school nurses, to join a virtual meeting to receive behavioral health guidance from our consulting clinicians, including child and adolescent psychiatrists and psychologists.
  • No appointment is necessary, and professionals can drop in whenever they need consultation.
  • We are piloting this consultation model in select ISDs/counties during the 2024/2025 school year.
  • We will offer these office hours multiple times a month for one hour, potentially adjusting the timing and frequency based on the needs and utilization of the service.

What should I expect?

  • Registration isn’t required.
  • These sessions are “first come, first served.” Once you enter the Zoom waiting room, we will let you know what number in the queue you are.
  • If time doesn’t allow for your consultation, we will let you know as quickly as possible and invite you to join another upcoming drop-in session.
  • Your consultation will be individual, private, and last 15-20 minutes.
  • You are welcome to join these virtual sessions as often as you like!

How do I prepare?

  • Identify upcoming office hours sessions you’d like to attend and add them to your calendar. See the schedule below for upcoming dates, times, and calendar reminder files.
  • At the beginning of the consultation, be ready to briefly share the presenting concerns, any relevant history, and your question(s) about how to support the student.
  • During consultations, please do not share identifying information about any students (e.g., name, date of birth, etc.).
