  • Understand how substance use disorder symptoms manifest in academic settings, including their impact on student behavior, attendance and academic performance
  • Understand the neurodevelopmental vulnerabilities of adolescence when it comes to substance use and substance use disorders
  • Learn strategies and resources for helping students gain access to help, especially those who live in under-resourced communities
  • Become aware of school-based intervention and prevention efforts that can be implemented in the school setting
