MC3 Offerings

for prescribing outpatient providers in Michigan

These no-cost offerings are intended for prescribing outpatient health care providers in Michigan who treat youth up to age 26 and/or perinatal patients. This includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and certified nurse midwives who are practicing in family medicine, general medicine, pediatrics, OB/Gyn/perinatal, pediatric subspecialties, and psychiatry practices.

MC3 offers psychiatry support to prescribing outpatient health care providers in Michigan who are managing pediatric and perinatal patients with behavioral/mental health concerns. The following services are available statewide.

Prescriber Consultations

Psychiatrists are available at no cost through same-day phone consultations to offer guidance on diagnostic questions, medication recommendations, and appropriate psychotherapy. Your local MC3 Behavioral Health Consultant is also available to provide recommendations for local resources. 

Group Case Consultation

Opportunities for you and your colleagues to discuss and review patients with behavioral health concerns with one of our consulting psychiatrists. 

The following services are available in select Michigan counties.

Behavioral Resource Specialist

We are partnering with Genesee Health System to offer patients personalized assistance with navigating local resources for behavioral health services with the help of a Behavioral Resource Specialist (available only in Genesee County)

Perinatal Patient Care

Expert guidance and personalized resource matching to connect perinatal patients with comprehensive community mental health resources and support (available only in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Ingham, or Washtenaw counties)

Live Educational Opportunities

We regularly offer virtual educational opportunities. They are typically 1-2 hours long and have time allotted for open case consultation and Q&A. Registration is required and continuing education credits are available for most.

We offer an ECHO® (Extension for Community Health Outcomes) program for providers treating patients with complex behavioral health concerns. Through telementoring, providers receive expert guidance and support on sample patient cases.

Youth Suicide Prevention Video Series
