Welcome to MC3 consultation for emergency and crisis settings. Consult requests can be submitted online through our secure form below. Once the information is submitted, one of our consulting psychiatrists will call the provider to complete the consultation. Learn more about MC3 Emergency & Crisis Services Consultation.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Consult requests can be submitted online anytime, but will be returned during our business hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Submissions made after 4 p.m. ET on weekdays, weekends, or holidays will be addressed the next business day.
• These telephone “curbside consultations” are based on de-identified patient information and do not create a physician-patient relationship between the psychiatrist and the patient.
• The consult form will ask for de-identified patient information, including basic demographics, brief synopsis of question/concern, and qualification if consult is urgent or non-urgent.
• Initial consultations typically last about 15 minutes, and follow-up consultations last about 10 minutes.
• Consultation requests may only be submitted by staff at participating partner sites, which include all Munson Healthcare ED sites and select Beacon, UM Health-Sparrow, and Covenant sites. If you do not work at a partner site but would like to learn more about this service, please email us at [email protected].
