Resources for National Eating Disorders Awareness Week
“Unfortunately, even with the most evidence-based treatments, the full recovery rate for eating disorders remains lower than desired at around 40 to 50%. However, this isn’t a reason to give up hope.”

Eating disorders affect every aspect of an individual’s health – including physical, emotional, cognitive, and social – with impacts ranging from mild to life-threatening. During this National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, from Monday, Feb. 23 through Sunday, March 1, primary care providers are invited to expand their understanding of eating disorders and how they can best support patients dealing with them.
