Learning objectives

  • Discuss the causes of disruptive behavior in early childhood and distinguish trauma-related presentations from other diagnoses.
  • Identify the function of disruptive behavior through classroom assessment.
  • Learn to implement behavioral interventions in classroom settings, drawing from Parent Management Training (PMT), relational, and classroom mindfulness-based approaches.
